Overview
Here's your chance to enjoy the luxury of a palace and live like the nobility of India once did. Spend time in Samode
Palace, a heritage hotel in Rajasthan and a truly romantic getaway. Set in the rugged Aravali Hills, Samode Palace
was built almost 200 years ago and later additions were made by many rulers, notably by Rawal Sheo Singhji, a
Prime Minister in the Jaipur court. Since then, the manor house has been beautifully restored to make it one of the
finest heritage hotels in India.
The tranquility of the hills soothe your senses while the colourful frescoes and glittering mirror-work inside the
palace liven up your spirits. The architecture is stunning with endless wings, terraces and courtyards, lavishly
created to perfection. Imagine holding court in the extravagant Durbar Hall or being entertained at the glittering

Itinerary
Day 1
You will be picked up from the airport/your hotel in Delhi and will travel to Samode covering a distance of 265
kilometres in an air-conditioned vehicle. Set in the rugged Aravali Hills, Samode Palace has a unique charm and is
an ideal romantic getaway. Check into your Deluxe Room.
Spend time exploring the hotel and its surrounds. Each of the rooms have a different design with impressive
twinkling mirror work, antique furniture, lovely carved four poster beds, mosaics, pillars and frescoes. The Maharaja
and Maharani suites are particularly beautiful with the walls and ceiling covered in mirror mosaics.
Enjoy sumptuous meals cooked by master chefs either in the regal dining room or in the central courtyard amidst
the sound of chirping bids and of water from the fountain nearby. Candlelight dinners by the pool can also be
organized. (All payable direct).
You may also enjoy camel rides or camel, elephant and jeep safaris with lunch enroute (payable direct).
Day 2
Today you will travel to Delhi in an air-conditioned vehicle. The tour ends at your hotel/airport in Delhi.
